General comment, and apologies for not answering you at this moment, but this area needs a sticky thread or a FAQ in the 3D forum for easy reference to the threads that have discussed this, with and without resolution.

On the heels of that, for now at least, try using the search function and type in black field or missing crowd, try a few descriptions of your issue, particularly within the 3D forum, and I'll wager you'll turn up some links.
