I've noticed rather quickly that the transactions my team does within its minor league system seems to completely disregard jersey numbers.

For instance, I'm playing the Braves and let's say someone gets demoted from the Gwinnett Braves to the Mississippi Braves. Let's also hypothetically say that the player being demoted has jersey number 4 and someone else already on Mississippi also has that number. The game doesn't seem to check for currently used numbers when it does these moves so the number does not get changed and there are now two players with the same number on the same team.

If I try to change that number manually to something else that is unavailable, I get that message about the number I'm changing it to not being available. If I leave the number there and hit return, I still get the number is unavailable message. I suppose my question is why doesn't the CPU change a jersey number if it is unavailable after a minor league transaction?
