Pitcher John W. "Jack" Lane was on the 1962 Durham Bulls team. The photo here showing him getting smooches from a couple of ladies was published in the January 29, 1961 issue of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Lane was a non-roster invitee with the Houston Colts in the spring of 1962.
