Larry "Lug" Milton 1903
Milton appeared in just one major league game, on May 7, 1903, for the Cardinals. He had a single in two at-bats, and pitched the last four innings of the game in St. Louis (after Dusty Rhoads had allowed the Cubs to score nine runs), allowing one run on three hits and a walk. He was sent to Omaha in the Western League after that one game and pitched in the minor leagues through 1910. Baseball-Reference.com gives his nickname as "Tug", but the St. Louis Republic refers to him as "Lug" in this image from March 22, 1903.
