You are right.
Don't remember who said it, but the bottom line on a successful dynasty is not how many views it gets, but whether the dynasty writer gets enjoyment out of doing it... that is all that is important.
The truly great dynasties have a story line that is primary... a story line that brings the players alive... the baseball stats are secondary... humor is also a great addition... Orcin and Westheim come to mind... I'm sure there are quite a few other dynasties of a similar style and are very well-written, too.
I wish I had the time to make the teams and players in the Islandian Pro Alliance come alive... but I made a fatal decision when I created a 64-team league... it is impossible to cover it in detail... it really exhausts me to recap the seasons... I love the playoffs, but not the regular season... should have done like DreamTeams and his Metro Leagues and limited it to 8-16 teams.
