It's hard to get answers for such an old version... I don't think the OOTP12 Forum has many people looking at it anymore.
I tried in 2013 right after the new version was released.
My almanacs did not convert properly.
I plan to try to convert OOTP12 to OOTP18 and just see what I end up with.
