IPA STARS TO SHINE IN MIDWAY WED
The stars will come out to shine Wednesday afternoon at Joe Wolf Stadium in Midway, home of the IPA champion Wolves... it's the 55th edition of the IPA All-Star Game between the Ruthlandian Union All-Stars and the Tycobbian All-Stars... 46 of the game's elites will show their wares on the baseball diamond... overall the Tycobbian Stars have dominated the series, winning 36 of the 54 games... the TU All-Stars have captured the last five games and eight of the last 10... the last time the RU All-Stars won was in 2049.

Managers Jerry Meeks of the Wynnamac Sundowners and Bobby Dorignac of the Midway Wolves are facing a dilemma -- how to get all the talented players into the game?.. but it will be a joy for the fans to see all their favorites stars on the field in the same game... Middlefield topped everybody with five All-Stars... Denton City had four...seven teams had a pair of participants... Hollis Dale, hurler for Middlefield is the oldest player in the game at age 40... Stoner first sacker Tyler Stoddard was the youngest at 20... he and Denton City pitcher Randall Neighbors were the only rookies to make the teams this season... James Long, pitcher for Middlefield, was selected for the ninth time in his career... Norishige Ito of Midway was picked for the fifth time... two twirlers were chosen for the fourth time... Middlefield's Hollis Dale and Valmara's Primo Sirak.
