VALE AND HEDGES HEADLINE TU TOP LEADERS
In the Tycobbian Union, the top batter was Daryl Vale of Midway with a .350 BA... Vale is a first-time winner... the best home-run hitter was second baseman Jaybird Ethridge of the Cape Coral Hurricanes with 44... he's a two-time leader, also won last year... Ethridge also topped the league and the IPA with 139 RBIs... also drove in the most runs in 2054... Vale also scored the most runs in the TU with 118... the best thief in the TU was rookie Jason Meeks of White River with 46 SBs.

The top Tycobbian twirlers were Yancey Hedges of Turon with 26 wins and only four losses... Jayson Mannon of Denton City recorded the lowest ERA at 2.06... for the fifth time in his career Matty Bell of San Alejo was the strikeout king with 248 Ks... the best closer was Burnell Kelley of Denton City with 38 saves... this was his second saves crown... he also won last year.
