The Cardinals smoked the Orioles 4 games to 1 in the World Series. They are loaded with position players. Four of them in the top ten for MVP, and all of them are 28 or younger. We'll see how they do going forward. Ned Williamson is a free agent now that the season is over, as is Dave Martinez. Charleston, Battey, Kane, Mike Stanley and Sam Thompson are all around through next season when Thompson becomes a free agent. The other four should be around for a while, so maybe they've got something, but baseball's tough to predict.
