Porter led off the top of the second with a home run.

In the top of the sixth, Porter hit his second solo home run of the game. One batter later and rain began to fall. The rain stopped one out later.
After six: Milwaukee 2 Texas 0.
In the top of the seventh, Theobald added an RBI single.
With a runner on first and two out in the top of the eighth, Don Stanhouse replaced Rogers on the mound for the Rangers and got the final out to retire the side.
The Brewers added an unearned run in the top of the ninth with Auerbach being credited with the RBI. Briggs added an RBI single as well.
After a leadoff walk in the bottom of the ninth, Bill Campbell replaced Slaton on the mound for the Brewers. Harrah made it a brand new ball game with a 3-run homer. With still nobody out, Frank Linzy replaced Campbell. Mason got an RBI single to make it a 1 run game. Billings then tied the game with his own RBI single. Maddox then ended it with an RBI single with two out. It was the Rangers 10th hit of the game.
Final score: Texas 6 Milwaukee 5.
