Yeah, the series was a bit of a letdown, especially compared to the exciting EL pennant series that preceded it. Before playing out the final, I thought it would go to the distance, with Fort Richmond having a slight edge. But the Monarchs just had trouble getting anything going against the Generals' pitchers. You're not going to win too many games when you're limited to just a single run three times!
