He started 13 games for the 1980 Durham Bulls in A ball going 6-5 with a 2.83 E.R.A striking out 77 in 86 IP. He was at Savannah in AA ball in 1981 and he was 6-8 with a 4.15 E.R.A in 23 GS. He pitched in 1982 at Savannah again going 8-13 with a 3.93 E.R.A over 151 IP with 110 K. He also got in 2 games at AAA that season.
In 1983 he was back at AA going 11-7 with a 4.59 E.R.A striking out 106 in 137 IP., He finished his pro career at AAA Richmond in 1984 going 4-12 with a 4.42 E.R.A and a 68/80 K/BB ratio in 126 IP.
