A Texas Rangers first! For the first time ever, a member of the Texas Rangers won a monthly award. Steve Rogers was named AL Rookie of the Month after going 4-1 with an ERA of 1.89 and 23 strikeouts in 52.1 innnings. Rogers will be taking the mound tonight as the Rangers host the Twins in the third game of the series.

Today is roster expansion day in MLB.
