Christmas in Victoria was really nice. Getting to spend time with family is even more important now that I am away for half of the year.
And the team got a New Year's gift as they signed Ben Oglivie to a one year deal! He may be a bit past his prime, but a know the value of veteran leadership.
Guy Sularz, who I played with a bit in September, was removed from the 40-man and placed on waivers.

As Spring Training was starting I heard that David Linton was released by the organization.
