Notes:
It was a week of sweeps, we started the week getting swept by the Mets. All 3 were low scoring, close games including an 11 inning loss. My starters Kreuger, Maddux and Gross combined to give up 4 runs in 21 innings, but my closer, Nunez gave up 3 runs in 2.2 IP, blowing 2 saves. The offense only managed 5 runs on 16 hits in the series, highlighred by Schmidt's pinch hit 2 run HR.

Then we swept Montreal scoring 17 runs in the 3 games. Meadows went 7 for 10, with 3 3Bs, HR and 5 Rbis. The bullpen pitched better giving up 3 runs in 10 IP.

I decided to shakeup the bullpen and move Nunez to middle relief and anointed Jesse Orosco the new closer.
