WALESKA GRINDS IT OUT IN RU SOUTH
The Ruthlandian South is one of the lesser divisions in the Islandian Pro Alliance, but it was a good race for the fans... seven of the clubs were near the top of the standings at the All-Star break... and it was still up for grabs at midseason... the gritty Waleska Westerners just hung in the hunt and wound up the winner by 5 games over second place the Grand City Cybercats (81-73) and the St. John Crusaders (81-73)... Valka (80-74) came in fourth trailing by 6 games... last year's winner, Grand City, was favored to repeat in the preseason poll this year.
