There's an issue at the moment with team finances acting very strangely in the first WCHL season. The league does have a slightly lower reputation than the NHL, but just barely, not enough that it should cause players to refuse contracts. When we test the fix for the WCHL financial problems, I'll watch for this and see if it's related, or something else.
