Breitenstein apparently went from throwing a baseball for a living to swinging a hammer and working a saw as a stagehand and employing other carpentry skills, which is logical and makes sense. ie: Murry Dickson, (MLB: 1939-1959 except for WWII military service) pitched for two decades in the big leagues and was a carpenter in his off-seasons and after he retired from baseball.
