Got it to do it! Took a few tries, but got it to do it again. Here are the details (don't know which of them would matter):

I started a game and was in the bottom of the first. I hit the space bar to simulate an at bat, but didn't hit any button to go to the next play. I left it enlarged on the screen, but it was my second desktop (you know how you can have multiple desktops on a Mac). Then I swiped back to my first desktop where firefox was open. I closed my laptop screen and left it for awhile (just closing the laptop for a second didn't do it. Maybe it has to fall asleep). It was probably 10-15 minutes. Then I came back and got the crash report from my system.

I saved the crash report to a Word document if you'd like me to send it to you somehow.
