So it sounds possible, though if I read between the lines, OOTP doesn't really operate this way and operates in more of a career only mode.

Just to clarify, you can create a team with players from different years on each team? Such as Roy Campenella from 1953, Babe Herman from 1930, Clayton Kershaw from 2015, etc. are all on the Dodgers.

I assume there is a function in OOTP where I can simply 'import' or 'copy' players from the internal database to each team to build the rosters?
