in your pitchign staff you can type them in to the right of their names of your Starting rotation.. not the releivers, though

in team strategy-individual strategy (sic) -- you drag player's name to teh bottom of screen to inspect their individual strat.. pitch count is one of the text input boxes -- for any player or position... obviosuly a 3b doesn't need it, but you can set RP pitch counts here if you wanted to. maybe for a low stamina guy? or to avoid pitching extremely tired? the ai protects agains this for RP i believe already.

i think setting max pitch count for a pitcher will cause them to try to pitch to theat # as opposed to normal useage? verfiy that behaviour, though, don't assume i am right.

2)

League Settings -> Finances. you may need to use the coefficient option -- it will reduce the underthehood number, but it will read like you expect.

2^32 / 2 = largest # it can handle (signed +/-, so "/2"). any calculation or single value that exceeds this will be a major problem.

max cash on hand is a typical culprit here, too.. if you don't limit it, you will have to do this eventually due to several teams pushing this value limit. not to mention flipping the dynamic between extensions and FA... wihtout a max cash limit, it is almost certainly cheaper to wait for them to go to FA than to sign them to an extension (has to do with what you can spend that excess cash on and what you cannot -- ie FA and extensions are different pools of money)
