errors too high?

I'm in 1954, playing all of my games out, and I'm noticing that errors are a bit more common than perhaps they should be. I am in my 11th game, and my starting infield of Mathews, Logan, O'Connell and Adcock has made 3, 4, 3 and 0 errors respectively. Mathews and Logan have fielding percentages in the .910s, and O'Connell is in the .960s. This seems low to me. Is this something that playing games out causes or is it just a case of early season bad luck?
