This isn’t something I’ve noticed and I’m a box score junkie, so here are a couple of things to check:
1. Are you looking at the LOB total for each batter as opposed to the team LOB? If so you aren’t going to match. For example, Abel leads off an inning with a walk. Baker and Charles strike followed by Daniel hitting a HR. Baker and Charles are each credited with a runner LOB, but the team LOB is 0. Conversely, if Daniel had also struck out, then he, Baker and Charles all would have been given 1 LOB but the team total would only be 1 LOB.
2. Are your box scores proving? The dormula for proving a box score is: AB+BB+HBP+SH+SF+CI=PO(by the opposing team, usually 27 but could be less if fewer than 9 full innings or more if extra innings)+team LOB+R. If you getting matching numbers on both sides of this equation, then there isn’t an issue.

Reason: corrected the formula to prove a box score; added R, removed H
