think of class label or type like you look at the 'overall' rating.
captain has to meet certain requirements... but if oyu have a team that's lacking selfish malcontents and you have some guys with leadership and some guys with a desire to win etc etc and generallyl good work ethics and intelligence... it won't matter whether you ahve a "captain" or not.
long story short: just worry about hte individual personality ratings and not the overall as much. never let that trump high-quality talent, either.
go make a team with all 100/200 ratings realted to baseball and 200/200 raitngs for personality.. then make them play a team that's just 150/200 ratings and 1/200 personality... i'll bet all the money in the world the malcontents wipe the floor with the Eagle Scout team, lol.
that' would be a good expirement to see where the break-even is... unfortunately i don't think the team matchup thing would crunch team chemistry like it would in a regular season.. so you'd have to make a 2team league with X number of games..
i bet 100 vs ~105 might be break even - pure gugess? in other words a small-potatoes effect. and it would depend on how things went initially and whether they dug a hole to start and got all upset etc... if things start out well with a win steak for the malcontents, they won't have the backlash from negative effects. based on slightly better ratings, they will win slightly more games over time -- any variance from that can be assumed to be personality related (with large enough sample size and no injuries and development turned off)
