it should just be based on last day off... if vx lhp and 3 or more days (and set that way) since last day off, it should sub.. solves all problems.. keeps it relative and can't miss.
i have a sneaking suspicion it now works this way, but a few years ago, not so sure.
you'd just have to sim through some days and set guys up to test how it works.
i don't like 7 day lineups, i want to sim 1-2 months at a time and only interrupt for important stuff like injuries and the like. it was a bandaid to cover up an depth chart that doens't function well on its own. a corner cutter, if you will... not a solution. and a pain to set up over and over again ... when a repetitive process is so mind-numbingly simple.
