you can customize paths.. it's in game too 'file settings' on main splash screen of ootp19. maybe it's game settings? the only 'settings' option either way.

custom_folder.ini in game's root directory.

OOTPAppFolder=C:\Games\OotP19
OOTPCustFolder=D:\Games\OotP19\data

when you install or update, keep a copy of it off to the side, i keep one on desktop, for example. then after setup runs, i drop it into the directory before loading ootp19 after a patch... the process pauses before it launches, don't click till you replace that file.

saves the hassle of re-installing data directory 2 times, if you want it all in the same folder and not default.
