It depends on your AI evaluations settings to a degree...but defense is likely the factor here. Maybe you have a manager or coach who values defense more so than offense...although an argument could certainly be made that in a corner OF position, offense should trump defense. Maybe you have a weak CF defensively, but I am not sure the AI is sophisticated enough to recognize this.
