Start a Standard Game , Make sure you are in comish mode.
Go to Game / Game Settings / League Settings
Edit league Structure Remove the NY Yankees (Note all current Yankee Players will become Free Agents, It may be best to delete their players before removing the actual team)
Click Add Historical team
Highlight Historical Database.odb - comfirm
Change Season year to 1927 and refresh team list
select the 1927 yankees
A few notes: The 1927 Yankees will only import with 25 players of which 10 will be pitchers.
They will not have Minor league teams associated to them, You can re-associate all Yankee Farm teams back to the 1927 version
You will likely need to regenerate a schedule
