Well, clearly if Superman played to his full abilities he'd have to be banned from the league. At bat, his biggest challenge would be to avoid hitting the ball so hard that it disintegrated. He'd have to lay off just enough to hit 500-600 foot homers every time. So the opposing teams would have to walk him. But if no one were on base he could just run faster than a speeding bullet all the way around the bases. Even if there were players on base it wouldn't help much. He could just use his super breath to blow the next ball a teammate hit out of the park.
As a fielder, his super speed and ability to fly means that no opponent would ever get on base unless they walked.
As a pitcher his ability to throw 500 or 600 mph fastballs would make him unhittable. Plus the catcher and the umpire and all the fans behind the plate would have to move out of the way.
So. Forget about Superman. Playing as Clark Kent is a different matter. It that case, he'd have pretend to be fallible. So, he could really be anybody in OOTP, depending on who he decided to emulate. My guess is that he would hive himself ratings as in OOTP, and then use his super brain to run an OOTP simulation in his head in order to get the result that would seem believable. Most everything would be under his control. If his internal simulation called for a walk, for example, he could subtly use his super breath to blow the ball a bit out of the strike zone.
