Thanks fellas for your time. But it looks like I'll just have to skip playing this great game until I can afford to hire a geek.

The game settings are cut back. They overlap each other in several areas. I used to have access to items on my main pc screen to adjust sound and other things but they don't pop up anymore. The widgets are way to big for the screen to look like it used to.

The 3D stadiums looked fantastic but now they are all messed up. I found Montgomery with the Rockies but so much is overlapped I can't get them to trade him back to the Cubs because I can't reach certain parts.

I'm sure your varied ideas are helpful but I can't used them because the screens are a mess and you can't reach things I could easily get before.

I had no idea trying out a 1600 screen would ruin everything but I'm sure it's because of my added stupidity.

I might try reinstalling the game if I can hire a geek to fix whatever got messed up going to 1600 screen setting and trying to get it back to where it was at 1024/768.

So very disappointing as I was trying before this to setup the actual Cubs/Cards battle in real life this week.

Oh well...that's the way it is sometimes when you are 73 and tend to mess pc stuff up. : )
