The velocity is nice but his current performance doesn't really lead to the conclusion he knows what to do with it. His current K9 and BB9 rates are both pretty bad, 6.5 for each! Small sample size obviously, and that the Cards believe in him obviously counts for something, but nothing he's shown so far actually indicates he's a good pitcher at this point in time. For all his heat he doesn't actually K MLB batters terribly much and his control is pretty dreadful.
Still, we'll keep an eye on him for sure and if he looks better the ratings will eventually reflect that.

My major concern in OOTP19 with him and Alex Reyes is that in 2 - 3 years in all 3 saves I have done... neither player made the MLB. And for Reyes that makes even less sense to me.
