Just a quick update: Near the trading deadline and he' still not hitting. I have tried a few different catchers to see what I can get, but got next to nothing as far as production. Herrmann, Matt Weiters (FA signee) and Blake Swihart (trade) have all hit under .200. Going by memory, I think they were all under .150! I have stuck with Swihart because he can play other positions and he has no option years left.
This offseason this guy is gone.
