Nothing explicit, but it requires a lot of arms to rotate through. For example:
Day 1:SP1 pitches
Day 2: sp1 sent down, rp1 called up
Day 6: rp1 sent down, sp2 called up
Day 7:sp2 sent down, rp2 called up
Day 11:rp2 sent down, sp1 called up
Day 12:sp1 sent down, rp3 called up
Generally speaking, most teams don't have 5 guys to swap around with options, just to have an extra bullpen arm sometimes. And injuries, off-days, etc... all play into this as well. The above I believe still needs one off-day in the schedule to line up, depending on exactly how they count days on option.
More often a team will just use a revolving last bullpen arm depending on fatigue. Or the Dodgers who play loose with DL time to skip a guy's start here or there.
