i don't think so .. but i'm not certain. someone else may have to take that one on.
however, you could do it with player import. Take, say - Mike Trout, and import him to the 1871 Philadelphia Athletics.
on the first line of player import you'd need this:
you'd need to get his player ID (troutmi01) and the year of his stats (say 2012) and the team you want his to go to .... Phi A's. (unfortunately, not at my game, so i can't look up that team ID). in the next line of the import, you'd put 1871 for the year of the game you are going to play.

1871

or if you just wanted him in the FA pool or draft pool, it's simpler. but similar

if you wanted to move a whole lot of players at once, you can create a text file (using notepad or notepad ++) and you can place as many players as you want into FA or draft pool. Or on a specific team.

here's a link with the basics discussed if you're interested. Somewhere on my game computer, i have a write up i found/edited on how to do it and it mentions how to put players on specific teams ... if interested, let me know in a PM and i'll dig it up.)
