don't know about that feature, but you could have had a Free Agent Draft, of all the free agents by merely selecting that feature from the league settings > functions (on left side under Functions first grey header "Schedule Free Agent Draft."
i never knew about this until it was pointed out to me last year. Might not be what you were after, but thought i'd point it out in case it might be.
