Unlikely All-Time Greats
I went back in history to look at some all-time greats. Here are a few stars that shined in our league who didn't have MLB careers of note.
OF George Kaufman (1944-66) - In real life, he was a minor leaguer who never saw the majors. In this sim, he was a first-ballot Hall of Famer who ended his career with 3595 hits, 2976 walks, a career .308 average and 215 home runs.
OF Cool Papa Bell (1925-45) - Since integration happened in 1920, Cool Papa Bell got to play in the bigs. He was a 9-time league MVP, won 4 World Series titles and ended his career as a .378 hitter, 4225 hits, and 606 career home runs.
