Who's talking about poker? wasn't online poker regulated several years ago because the super users had bots at every table.

The fact is that these companies and their elite users prey on the casual fan. It wouldn't be a "consensual transaction" if that casual fan knew the statistics.

It's disappointing to see how perverse the whole system has gotten. Money corrupts. That is why sports gambling is now legal and now it's gotten OOTPD. This is a horrible partnership.
No online poker wasn't regulated several years ago. Instead, a Republican Congressman who was planning a run for president put an amendment into a Port Authority Bill the day before it had to be passed which made it illegal for banks to transfer money to and from online gambling sites. He did this in hopes of appealing to the religious right but ended up never running. Either way it forced me and many other professional poker players to move to another country so we can continue our chosen careers.

As for not knowing the statistics, I doubt many people who gamble in a casino know the statistics either. That doesn't make the transaction "non-consensual" since they are choosing to remain ignorant. People who try to get in the way of two other parties' consensual transaction when it has no affect on them are the nut low.
