I mean, it wouldn't be necessary to add a layer of agents if the players behaved like they would in the real world and not like 4 year olds who are told they have to finish dinner before they can have dessert.
I honestly don't get the rationale behind how the personality/negotiation/interaction system was designed. Certainly it isn't realistic in any sense that I can think of. The oddball troublemaker, fine. The haughty "talent" I get (Barry Bonds type). But random nobody minor leaguers with chips on their shoulders? I wonder why the devs want players portrayed this way.
