Too much offense - What is to blame?

I have a MLB quickstart save that I've actually taken past the first season. In OOTP 18 I played the 2017 season over and over and was finding myself doing the same thing in 19 so I forced myself to continue. I was in a good place and excited about playing ahead. However in the 2019 season there's just way too much offense. Below is a table that shows my league totals to date, the projected totals at the end of the season, the totals shown in the LTM's. and the % delta.

I thought I was going to see a much overall higher BA because my team (CLE) BA is hovering between .295 to .299 through early June. However a 3% difference isn't alarming to me. What is is the Home Runs and Walks. 16.3% and 7.3% respectively. It really has scoring and pitching stats screwed up.

So my question is what caused this? I don't think I recalculated the LTM's before the season started. I also found I have More/Less offense checked in my settings. I expected more/less offense to be more subtle. Could the LTM's be to blame. I guess it's likely that it's a combination.

I thought I could push through 2019 and then recalc LTM's at the beginning of 2020 but the more I play the more frustrated I get.
