January 1st, 2023: The Blue Jays signed RHP Mason McCullugh to a 3-year, $11,840,000 contract. It's an interesting contract, considering he's only appeared in the big leagues in 2021, but he's got killer stuff and is definitely talented.

January 3rd, 2023: The Giants signed Madison Bumgarner to a 5-year, $23,600,000 per year deal. It's a big deal for MadBum who's still recovering from surgery to remove a bone spur. He still looks like a top starter, but it's a big guarantee.

I claimed C C.J. Willis off waivers and sent him down to Greensboro. The former 2018 6th rounder has 2.5* potential and a cannon behind the plate.

January 4th, 2023: The Cubs signed CF Kevin Kiermaier to a 2-year, $7,440,000 contract. The defensive specialist spent a bit more then 9 years with Tampa, hitting .249/.306/.414 with 117 homers and 421 RBI's.

January 5th, 2023: The Yankees traded RHP Zack Littell to the Giants for 3B Kevin Beltre and RF Christian Chamberlian. It's a pretty fair deal.

January 6th, 2023: I claimed SS Jeremiah Jackson off waivers. The former 9th rounder back in 2018 is an elite defensive shortstop with great speed and great plate dicipline. He's rated a 2/3.5 and will be sent down to A+ Jupiter.

January 8th, 2023: The Tigers signed Michael Brantley to a 3-year, $29,100,000 deal. With Cleveland and San Diego, he's a career .291/.355/.430 with 128 homers and 776 RBI's.

January 15th, 2023: The Red Sox sent C Daniel Rosica to the Angels for RHP Griffin Canning. It's a solid deal for both teams, although I like the Angels haul better.

January 17th, 2022: The Blue Jays signed C Gary Sanchez to a 4-year, $83,200,000 contract. It's his first organization outside of New York, and is a career .260/.328/.519 hitter with 211 homers and 566 RBI's.

January 18th, 2023: As expected, no one was elected to the Hall of Fame. The only guy with more then 50% was Carlos Beltran (59.8). A notable dropped player was Jeff Kent in his 10th year.

The Diamondbacks singed RP Alex Colome to a 2-year, $16,400,000 contract. He had a nice year with Boston, 1.97 ERA in 73 innings.

January 22nd, 2022: The Reds traded 2B Alec Blandino and 2B Luis Angel Santos to the Dodgers for SS Gavin Lux. I like this trade for the Reds.

Oakland sent RHP A.J. Labas to the Orioles for RHP Ariel Jurado. It seems like a steal for Baltimore.

January 23rd, 2022: I claimed 2B Tyler Malone off waivers and sent him to AA Jacksnoville. The former 8th rounder from 2019 is an elite defensive second basemen with solid speed, a great eye, and passable bat.

The Red Sox signed veteran RHP Bryan Shaw to a 1-year, $4,000,000 deal. It's another addition to the Boston pen.
