Domenic Loetzsch has everything but the batting title wrapped up in his triple crown quest. We'll follow along during the final 2 weeks. Great race for the MVP and Koufax in the National league.
Brooklyn has seized control from perennial series contender Detroit. Memphis and Ohio appear to be taking to the wire and Denver and Vegas are grinding to the final days in the West. Detroit could actually miss out on a berth if Alaska can get hot. That would be a stunning turn of events.
Pittsburgh in the east, again. Texas and KC for the Central and LA already clinched a berth. Only debate seems to be in the Central and a possible fight between KC and Washington for the 2nd WC spot.
