You can move them to the senior league (I think is called like that).
But actually the active roster max is 23 not 30 though. Maybe with Knoxville is different.
I'm playing with Huntsville Havoc but the limit is 23 not 30 but I do noticed that Knoxville every season moves around 7 players to the senior league.
