- Claimed 36-year-old Catcher Bryan Holaday off waivers from Memphis today. I am going to try sneaking him through waivers. He's a legend in AAA for working with young pitching and helping develop young pitchers. I am going to put him on the 40 man and option him in hopes of him clearing.

Wow. I knew the club had been remade and that our record was far ahead of our starting pitching (5.29 8th) but this was nice to see. One concern, 3 different pitchers were hurt. Doherty was DtD but is fine, the same thing with Tim Agresta who's DtD for one more day. On Sunday Jace Camp came up with a strained back which will likely make him miss one start.
