Interesting week. All 6 games are vs the 3 first place clubs in the AL. I am seriously shocked and excited that we're 8 games above .500 with the #1 defense in the AL the 2nd best starting ERA and the 3rd best bullpen. All the pitching stuff surprises me but in a good way. The offense has been a bit of a disappointment with the horrid start by Foggie, Hayashi and the trade of Grider..

- 25 year old Joe Clark was promoted from Hobbs today to enter the Farmington rotation. He responded with a CG 5-hit SHO in his 1st start.
- 5/27: FLA 3 DET 2 (13) Barlow 7.1 IP 2 ER 10 K Pen 5.2 IP 2 H 9 K 1 BB Benoit punches out 5 in 2 and now has 42 in 21 IP.
- Denver ace Winton Alward set a franchise record with 18 strikeouts in 8 innings of a 3-2 loss to Ohio.
- Harland Legge (LV) 5-5 vs Brooklyn
- Milwaukee SP Davon Duchene was diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff and will be out until mid-season next year at the earliest. The 25 year old was the 8th overall pick in the 2002 draft.
- 5/28: FLA 4 CHI 3 (10) 1 in the 9th to tie Barranco walk-off HR in the 10th

- Eric Hecht (MEM) same game, 5-6 and hit for the cycle with 4 RBI 3 R (.354-19-50)
- The Horizon Huskies are playing the Handley Tigers for the NAIA High School title.
