Maybe so.... it's not easy to get logos, jerseys and caps done this days... several years ago it was, but the great graphics guys apparently got burned out and left the Forums... or just stopped doing graphics.
txranger is one of the best and still around... but he really gets a lot of requests... I occasionally ask him to create one for me... he recently made the Tycobbian All-Stars and Ruthlandian All-Stars logos for my IPA All-Star Game... they really are well done.
The jersey, cap and logo software creators like justafan also had a hand in it... people could now create their own graphics and didn't need to get someone to do it for them.
The use of "2001" was used in many cases by me in creating the logos... I was very limited in my skills and could only do a basic logo... it was basically used to just balance the logo lettering and to fill in empty space on the logo.
I will see if the Graphics Forum will create me some new logos to replace the 2001 logos... I think there are may be 7 or 8 of them in the league... so I might be able to get them redone.
