) but from how you sounded, I thought that they maybe had won? But not, losing 6-3.
You mentioned the three homers, by the guys who seem to have potential: Conforto, Nimmo, and Rosario. Some of the rest, you should get rid of by trade or release. Not just the older ones (Bautista, Bruce) but some of the younger deadwood who may still have value (such as Smith who wasn't doing well in Triple-A before you called him up).
The Mets will come out of this tailspin someday and it will be interesting to see who the players are that will step up and how the team deals with the rest who are bums.
