TARPONS CLUBHOUSE IN TURMOIL?
For the 2nd time in two weeks news out of Miami has the Florida clubhouse as anything but serene. Rumors surfaced that infielder Bobby Trumble and star CF Mike Haupt got into a shoving match after the teams 7-6 win over Alaska on Friday. Apparently, Trumble was overheard questioning Haupts 'effort' running out a 4th inning ground ball. The two had to be separated by teammates.

- Kansas City closer Jon Carruth is out at least the next 7 weeks with an undisclosed shoulder issue
- Nobunori Yamaguchi (SF) fanned 5 in a 16-0 crushing of Texas.
AL POTW - Luis Aguirre (DEN) 8-15 2 HR 6 RBI (.344-3-7)

GM'S OFFICE
It's just 13 games but I am concerned. Saldana is hitting .128-2-8 with that output coming in one game. Ramirez .139 and Klatt .118 with Trumble at .217 makes the bottom of the lineup a sinkhole. The offense is down all over the league but this is a bit much. If there is no pickup for the next 2 weeks I'll make some moves.
The bigger problem for me is this clubhouse issue. Apparently, Trumble pulled Haupt aside and tried to fix this 1 on 1. That clearly didn't work. As I think about 'options' I start to wonder if there is anything that can be done.
