November 2nd, 2024: Back at it, I earned the achievement "Fantastic Score" for my score of 908.

Nick Gordon decided to not execute his opt out clause, so he'll be under contract from 2025-2028, although the Twins are still paying for it.

I have a new budget of $182 million, good for 21st, but that means I still have no room for extensions or free agents...

I also got my contract extended for 2-years, $1.5 million per year.

The Blue Jays were sold by Alan Horn to Chris Pearison. He's "unmerciful" although "generous" with spending. He made his money in finance, so that's why he's so willing to spend, he's loaded.

The Whiet Sox fired GM Logan White. It was his second season, and last year he got them to 1 game out of first with a 84-78 record. They struggled this year, 69-93, but he didn't deserve to get fired. They also fired longtime manager Miguel Centena, who's been with the team since 2018, where he went 0-6. His career record, all with Chicago, is 435-543.

The Phillies fired GM Matt Klentak, who started his tenure with three 95+ win seasons. It's been rough the past two years, and the Phillies decided it was time to move on.

The Giants fired GM Kim Ng, who was also in his second year. He didn't really get a chance to see through any sort of rebuild or anything, but the Giants thought it was time to move on.

I extended the qualifying offer to Brendan Rodgers, released impending free agents Hansel Robles and Ben Heller to free up room on the 40, designated Adonis Medina and Max Marusak, to make room for the DL players. If Marusak clears, I'd eventually add him back, but for now, he will be down a roster spot.

I'll tackle arbitration tomorrow...

SP A.J. Puckett (Traded to the Angels for LHP Ramon Perez): When you have money problems, you have to make these deals...
RP Alpha Quivers (1-year, $2,150,000)
RP Yasukazu Shiotani (Non-tendered): $13 million is too much for a declining, now 2.5* releifer...
C Thomas Dillard (1-year, $12,560,000): That's his first arbitration contract...
2B Scott Kingery (1-year, $4,0080,000)
LF Lazaro Armenteros (1-year, $3,120,000)
CF Mickey Moniak (1-year, $5,960,000)

Looking at the trade, Perez is a 25-year-old rated a 2/2.5 as a SP, and 3/3 as a RP. He didn't have the best year in the rotation for the Angels, but he's got an insane fastball that reaches triple digits. In his career with San Diego and the Angels, he's 19-17 with a 4.97 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in 257 innings with 230 strikeouts.

November 5th, 2024: I lost RF Max Marusak to waivers, and outrighted Adonis Medina to AAA. Now with the Rangers, he might get more playing time.

November 10th, 2024: The Tigers traded RHP Junior Fernandez to the Brewers for LF Je'Von Ward. It's a pretty even deal for both sides.

November 11th, 2024: TEX CL Jose LeClerc and ATL CL Cole Winn won Reliever of the Year. Shiotani finished in third with 7 1st place votes and 43 total points.

The Angels traded RHP Nick Hanson and C Nestore Pierozzi to the Marienrs for RF Jeff Aimone. It's a decent deal, but Aimone is a really promising young outfielder.

November 12th, 2024: Seth Beer won Platinum Stick for NL 1B. He hit .273/.385/.547 with 36 homers to win the first of his career.

November 13th, 2024: BAL 3B Juan Alfredo Walls and MIL C Carlos Perez won Rookie of the Year.

The Nationsls traded 1B Guillermo Tatis to the Pirates for SP Gage Hinsz. It's a nice trade for the Nats, and I think the Pirates are selling low.

Houston sent RF Seuly Matias to the Indias for RHP Jean Cosme and LF Mike Madderom. It's a pretty even deal.

November 14th, 2024: SEA Manager Jose Zapata and MIA Manager Aaron Boone won Manager of the Year. It's nice to see Boone get recognized for helping lead this team to the World Series. He's done great for us, and he's now a 2-time World Champion.

November 15th, 2024: SEA SP Juan Villasenor and NYM SP Noah Syndergaard were named Cy Young winners. I really wish I still had Villasenor... Shiotani got 3 points and Montgomery got 2.

I'm still sad about Montgomery's injury, and being without a pitcher who's never had an ERA above 4, it'll be a tough loss to swallow. He's also probably my favorite player on my team.

The Pirates sent LHP Cullen Dana to the Orioles for 3B Nick Maldonado. It's a pretty even deal.

November 16th, 2024: BAL CF Benni Vogl and WSH 3B Tanner Kohlhepp were named MVP. Seth Beer earned 114 points and Thomas Dillard earned 9. Even adding them together, they are well short of 248. Ironically, Kohlhepp only got three first place votes, but still managed to win.

November 24th, 2024: Brendan Rodgers rejected the qualifying offer, and will file for free agency. I'd recieve a compensation pick for him.

To be safe, I'm exporting the draft order today, so i can manually edit any changes that occurred in the offseason if needed. In a seperate file, I'm going to save the compensation players, and update who signed them so I can determine which teams earn a compensation pick.
