Brooklyn's off to a great start and the leaderboard explains why In the NL Rob Anderson is making their GM look brilliant by having one of the best Aprils in league history. For anyone counting that's on average a 15.6 WAR....

A great first month sees us enter May tied atop the East. Perennial postseason visitors Las Vegas and Detroit off to bad starts but no one having a monster month means they sit just 3 and 4 games back I have no idea based on the pre-season predictions how any of this is going to go.

The Jets had a very aggressive winter and so far it appears to be paying off. Signing Anderson wasn't a 'genius' move in the sense of smarts but it was just a very good signing that's paying dividends already. Pitcher and Player of the month never hurt.
Seems every year LA or SF puts 1-2 teams almost out of the hunt in April. This year it appears to be the Bears turn.
