Callaway is apparently no longer the wunderkind that a 11-1 record suggested at the time. It's probably not fair (although in McAdoo's case, it was) but I've learned over the years to not feel sorry for these guys. It's part of the job that they are asked to go when things get bad enough because it's the easiest and quickest fix available. They know this when they accept these jobs.
